WHAT INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

We do not currently accept any insurances.

Childbirth education classes are covered by many insurances. Call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask what is covered. The insurance CPT code (billing code) for childbirth education classes is S9436 and diagnosis code Z32.2.

If classes are not directly covered you can often use tax-free dollars from your HSA or FSA account to pay. 

IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU DIFFER FROM THE FREE CHILDBIRTH CLASSES PROVIDED AT MY LOCAL HOSPITAL?

Unlike childbirth classes provided at hospitals my goal is to provide you with evidence based, non-biased labor and birth information.

In my personal experience, hospital-based classes essentially prepare you for the interventions they will undoubtedly suggest when things are not moving as quickly as the would like or when they tell you your body is failing. 

​

My classes cover special circumstances and interventions that could arise and provide available options for you, while empowering you to make informed decisions and refuse interventions when needed.

WHERE DO YOU HOLD CLASSES?

Classes are available online via Zoom in both a group and 1:1 setting.

In person classes are also held either in the comfort of my home if its a group or your home if its a 1:1 class.
